shotgun shipping question

I searched several ways, but I wasn't able to find out if shipping a shotgun is any different than shipping a handgun? I seem to remember reading on THR about how UPS and FEDEX are different than sending USPS etc. I live in Tennessee and want to receive an old shotgun from Florida. Do I have to use a licensed dealer for a shotgun etc? It isn't my first firearm by a long shot, but it is the first I ever shipped or received via parcel. Anything else I should know?

If you're buying a shotgun from someone in Florida and you want it shipped to Tennessee, it has to be shipped to a FFL Dealer in Tennessee.

It can be mailed via USPS or shipped by UPS, or FedEx.
