My wife and I go shotgunning together, and she is having a hard time finding a vest that fits. Not wanting to get a men's vest altered, does anyone know of a vest vendor that sells vests that are cut for ladies?

Beretta makes one.

I also recommend their shooting glasses, and other accessories.

Will Fennell if he sees this thread can chime in, or type what his wonderful wife has to share. *smile*

Orvis used to make one ladies really liked, and so did 10X...
I am not sure what they offer now.

P.A.S.T vest I have, worked for a lot of ladies. This one is green with tan, and permanent pad.
This was used for patterning shotguns with slugs and buckshot, and sighting in rifles.

I will warn you, if your lady sees the Beretta site, your credit card is going to be bruised. *grin*

Ladies and kids go nuts over them vests, the shooting pouch, hand towel, hats, shooting glasses and there are two knives ( heck I want one of them old time knives myself, and I need shooting glasses) they "gotta have".

Those youth shooting glasses are really that good!

If the lady ventures to "household" area of Beretta...well...
Look at this way, you will have no problem with gift ideas for gift giving days.
*grin*

Just qualify for the US National Team. They have lots of women's clothing and equipment, and much of it's free.

Worked for one person I know, anyway...:)

Or contact USA Shooting. Support the team by buying one.

I think it cost a lot more than a Beretta vest for her to get to that level, though...:)

Yup,
Beretta makes a nice ladies vest....cut more for the female form;) She Safari and Shoot the Moon also have good reputations for ladies vest, with "Shoot the Moon" they will tailor on to specific measurements.

My wonderful shooting partner has a couple of vest, but prefers shooting with a hip pouch, since so many of our tournaments are in the heat of the summer and in the hot parts of the country. While there are many great pouches out there from nail aprons[work just fine] to more $$$$$[ Check out GALCO, the holster people] my wife really likes custom stuff, so I had her one made by Al Ange in Va .....

..... Hers is black shark skin and stingray trim;)

bobmcd, you have gotten her a 28 ga, haven't you?

She has a Mossberg "Bantam" 20 ga O/U. She picked the Bantam for the relatively short stock; she would have preferred a 12, but the Bantam only comes in 20. (In addition to the O/U's for trap, we do a monthly box of shells through the HD 12-ga pump, so she has no trouble with the recoil; it's just the length and weight wear her out while shooting trap.)

On further Googling, I see that Bob Allen has lady vests; don't know why we didn't see them before...
