Does anyone know of any brands of aftermarket side-folding stocks for shotguns, or any manufacturers which make a shotgun with a side-folder? If not, is there a techincal reason why nobody does? It seems more argonomically preferable to the top folders.

My brother's Mosberg 500A has a butler creek folding stock on it. I don't like it. The stock sits too high giving a bad check to comb placeing. Almost have to roll the top of the gun inwards to line the barrel up with your eye. He clams to like it, but doesn't shot it much.

Wolf, the butler creek stock angles down as it folds and clears the ejection port of the reciver.

Don't mean to hijack, but Glockman does that Knoxx stock interfere with the slide release button on Moss 500 like the cheaper ATI knockoff does? *ah nm I see now it's a different model entirely.

As for the OP

may have some folding stocks. I have not used them and cannot vouch for their service.
