Should I break down and buy an Endura?

Yo Mama,

I'm just gonna throw this out there........how bout an Endura with FFG blade? Crazy slicer, with pretty sharp tip. Same knife, different blade, same VG 10 steel.

Just throwing that out there for ya buddy.

Interesting BM Bone Collector up there.

Is there a story behind the SoD logo on the blade?

BM does laser engraving for 5 bucks! If you want text and pic it's like 10 bucks. I got the knife from my Mother for Hanukkah, and wanted to remember the event. Inside the SOD is a Chai, lucky number and meaning in Hebrew. I love the knife, and it was a beautiful gift.

Man I was torn between the regular Endura and the FFG. If you have a pic of two of one you have feel free to post. :)

Yo,

Sorry if my last post was misleading. I have handled the FFG Endura, but do not personally own one. Mine is plain old Endura 4. I do like the FFG though, and will get one.

Spydie Heaven

Prepare yourself. You have been warned-ed-ed..

Started with the foilage green endura and G-10 delica, moved to the Centofante III..then a plain endura...then I needed the stretch...but then I needed a Manix 2 after nutnfancy's youtube reveiw...but wait? no fixed blades? Damn...need the bill moran upswept...

Spyderco. Getcha some!

(p.s. I carried the FG endura and G-10 Endura in iraq 08-09)

Also...does anyone have an all natural home remedy for this sickness?

sonofodin, nice collection! I notice you stayed away from any liner locks, which I have also done. Both my Spydies are lock backs, and my Benchmades are Axis locks.

As a side note, the only liner I've been comfortable with is my Victorinox Trecker.

I love the look of that Stretch and Centofante.

Yo, to be honest the stretch is a 10/10 in my book. I'm a fan and subscriber to nutnfancys channel and I dig his knife reveiws. IMHO, all the points that he hits are on the money for knife standards. having used VG-10 alot in the army and now in the civilian sector, its been a favorite of mine for a long time. I've had AUS-8 in a sog pentagon elite ii rust out in Louisiana just from being drenched in sweat and swamp water for a day.

The centofante III is a sweet little knife. too thin for tactical carry though. I also like a little more heft on my EDC blades. I generally try to stay away from liner locks unless they are really, really beefy. I like lockbacks (of quality) and axis locks very much.

Yourcornerstore.com has stretch's for about $70. their sister sight, notjustknives.com has wicked sales on lots of blades. I got the last Bill Moran upswept for like $62. Its replacing my sog field pup since they started making them out of crappy chinese steel. Its going to be my fishing/hunting/lite survival knife. maybe I should do a thread on them...

I generally don't carry my Endura because it's bigger than I like to EDC. That said, it is a very nice knife, and I wouldn't have any problem recommending it. Also, I've purchased 3 Golden Natives, 1 Endura 4, 2 Delica4, a Cricket, Dragonfly, and Lady Bug. The only ones that have been less than perfect fit and finish wise were two of the Natives. The blade and the spine of the lock aren't flush where they meet (the lock stays elevated a little above the blade just behind the jimping). I also had the blade on one of the Natives chip and I honestly can't remember cutting anything with it that should have caused that. Otherwise, I've not experienced a single issue with the Japanese knives.
