should I just shoot my dpms compact hunter or get a GII hunter

i traded it for a remington 700 with a 20" heavy barrel and a leupold scope.

It is at the gunsmith being bedded and put into a mcmillan stock that I got from a THR member.

Illl probably still get a G2 someday, but for right now just want to learn to shoot to 1000 from a bench.

Im hunting hogs < 100 yards with 300 blackout.

I really do like the simplicity of bolt guns. I was shooting my 300 blackout AR and it just isnt as nice to shoot subsonic as my 300 blackout bolt gun.

Well, that took a turn off course! That M700 in a Mcmillan stock will be a sweet shooter I bet, can't fault that decision, especially with a 300 BLK already in the stable.

If you get a chance to handle the GII you will appreciate the improvements made to it over the previous versions. But I can't say I blame you for trading the other off.
