I have a friend who won a Browning 12ga BPS from the casinos down here. He's put a box of shells through it, and other than that it's brand new. He has offered to sell it to me for $175.

I currently own an 870 Wingmaster that is fairly used, but it great condition. I've dated it back to 1976. I love it and have no problems with it.

What I want to do is give one to my brother.
Which one do you think I should keep? Is the Browning a good shotgun? Or is it all personal preference?

I'll post a pic of the Browning when I pick it up tomorrow.

That Browning's a very nice shotgun, and should last a very long time. And $175 is tantamount to theft!

All the same, you love your 870.

The Browning's bottom feed and eject, ambi safety, and so on may make it a slightly better choice for the sinistrally inclined(Left handed).

It's your call.....

I'm partial to the 870, but you have to decide which one you are partial to.

Ok, so it's all about personal preference :D. I was wondering if the quality was the same in either one. I guess I'll find out in a couple of hours :D.

Ok, guys, I picked it up. On the barrel it says Invector BPS. I can't find that model on their website, though. It has a 26" barrel and is very nice looking.
Here are a couple of pics.

That is an incredible deal on that BPS. Usually they are around $400+ new.

Probably my second favorite pump shotgun right after the 870. I think they are very slick and very tough guns. You did well.

I realize I'm a little late to the game, but for what it's worth I love the BPSs but I'd probably choose the Wingmaster.
