Should I keep this 44 Special?

While I know a lot of folks diss Taurus, and often for good reason, I'm happy with my 441 in 44 SPL. Great shooting wheel gun

But that's older Taurus, a discontinued model. I like my 441 too. I will part with the 431, because I am partial to the 441's adj sights versus the 431's fast draw advantage.

Because of macular degeneration in my right eye, I favor my left, while shooting right handed. Thus some windage adjustment is needed to group on bullseye, which is more satisfying than off in the weeds or using Kentucky windage. Therefore, the 441 is a better fit for me (and my SW 696).

I'd also try to keep it if you can. I've regretted selling a few guns that I liked, but thought I just had to sell to somehow upgrade. Off the top of my head, I should have just oiled that Finnish M39 and put it aside for a year. Same with a really sweet S&W Model 60.

Plus in your case, if your primary revolver needs servicing by a gunsmith, you'll still have a second that uses the same ammunition.
