Should I sell my ammo ?

Look up what it's going for on gunbroker (by the 1000), and sell it for 75-80% end auction rate. It'll be a relatively "good deal" for the buyer, but not good enough for someone looking to flip the ammo, and you'll make a healthy profit to get your wife something nice

I had extra .22lr and sold some on GB. Couldn't believe Federal Value Packs (3 or 1650 rounds) went for $328 shipped. I have 5,000 CCI standard velocity that I am tempted to put on there.

9mm is going for .60 to .70 per round

Maybe it is in California, but not everywhere. I bought some at Wally World last week for less than .30 per round. And there was plenty of it.

To the OP, personally I would keep all of the 5.56 and sell about half of the 9mm, but that's just me. You could always put it on Gunbroker and put a reserve on it if you're concerned about not getting enough.

Al beat me to it. The local shops and Walmart are now getting ammunition in, so I'd say sell now if you wish to as your window of opportunity of awesome profit is starting to close.

Set the reserve at pre-panic prices and see where it goes. No one can claim that you're gouging if you allow others to decide how much they are willing to spend.
