Should I sell my Yugo SKS?

I think everyone should have an SKS in their armory. It is a gun that scares the left, but everybody ought to have several AKs - they are the ones to actually shoot. The SKS is a pretty crude machine that works ok - the AK is a crude machine that works quite well.

Well everyone is different. I have a Yugoslavian SKS myself and have access to a Chinese SKS at will.

The Chinese do have chromed lined bores for easier cleaning. They are a good deal lighter also, which means alot if you carry it around any. The Yugo tend to be a bit more accurate than the Chinese though. The Yugo is over built for the SKS design, supposedly because they where designed for hotter ammunition. I prefer the Yugo because I reload and the gas shut-off comes in real handy for keeping brass.

A wood stock should help with balance, though hard to find. Tech Sights also do a great deal for accuracy on any SKS.

I am planing on buying a Chinese SKS soon. So my vote is keep it and get a Chinese to.
