Should Private firearms transactions involve a background check?

I didn't vote in your poll. I don't think it should be required for private transactions, but I think the State Police should be required to make the system available to private citizens who want to utilize it, for the same fees they charge gunshops. They can issue a eligible or ineligible determination to the seller without getting into the why.

I've only sold guns to licensed dealers and a few police officers (who I knew were in good standing) and a few people I know didn't have criminal records.
