Is a shoulder holster under a shirt (no undershirt) a viable EDC option with a P7?

We have good weather, meaning warm or moderately hot all year, day and night... No jackets, even an undershirt is too much. I like my shirts tucked in, and tuckable IWB holsters are not as comfy to use as they sound on the Net. So, I was wondering if a shoulder rig would do the trick - only that I can’t even try one on before to order, since the closest thing to a gunshop is 2,000 miles away...

The P7 is compact, and light for an all-steel gun (roughly same weight as an alloy-framed 1911 Commander or CZ 75), and would tuck nicely under one’s arm.

I am not asking about retention, draw, safety, etc., but only if a properly rigged shoulder holster would be comfortable enough under a shirt only to be a viable EDC option.

Anybody using or having used shoulder holsters as an EDC rig under a shirt?

Thanks!

I have not, but I'm sure I'd find it uncomfortable, especially without an undershirt.

I find it uncomfortable to wear a button up shirt without an undershirt regardless of whether I'm wearing a shoulder holster or not.

No way I'd want to wear a leather shoulder holster without an undershirt. I don't really know specifics about East African climate (other than its hot), but I currently live in Arizona in the middle of the Sonoran Desert, so I know heat.

You would need a pretty big shirt. Shoulder holsters are not really that great in hot weather.

Temperatures are in the 75-85F, which is quite comfortable, and sweat is rarely an issue. Linen shirts, ample, blousing at the waist...

An undershirt would certainly be a good idea to wick away sweat and humidity between skin and rig, I can live with that.
