I may be getting a S&W M27 with a 8 3/8" barrel and I am looking for a holster maker who can make a vertical holster for it. I would prefer one that goes under the arm and not across the chest. THanks for any help.

That'll be like this one -
I'll be honest and JMHO - that is stretching things for a vert sho rig and that barrel length. I have a hunting rig for large SRH's and BFR etc but they are cross chest types - not meant for concealment.
Even if you are tall and long of torso - I do think this might be hard to find a maker for. I wonder if Bianchi does a front break long enough to hold this. I have a rig for a 6" 686 and IMO that is pushing the envelope for long tube revo carry.
