I am looking for a quality shoulder holster for my Ruger SR9c. I regularly carry in a Crossbreed Supertuck but when cold weather necessitates a heavy coat my draw from 7:30 (left-handed) IWB is seriously hindered.
I really like the Galco Miami Classic II but they do not make those for the SR9c. Now, I have never used a shoulder holster but I've studied up a bit and I think that these factors matter most to me:
- I really want leather and it must be made for the gun (as opposed to
those generic fit holsters that you can put any similarly-sized gun in).
- I have to be able to get a lefty version.
- I think that I want horizontal carry with a carrier for 2 spare mags
under the opposite arm.
Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can get something like this? I saw the Master's one (http://www.jbpholsters.com/servlet/the-63/LEATHER-GUN-SHOULDER-HOLSTER/Detail) but I'm not totally sold. I just wanted to see if there is anything else out there that I should consider. Thanks!
