Actually that is John's rendition of a "Long Cylinder" Colt conversion and is pretty close (except that he reprofiled the barrel lug somewhat and installed an ejector like a Richards).

Nice pistol for it's time as John was a pioneer in Cartridge Conversion building.
Not a bad price and with a second barrel retaining the rammer and the throats opened up it would be a fun switch caliber gun to shoot heel base bullets in!

There is some historical significance (what I've been told) to the "full blue" as there were some military 1860 pistols that were re-arsenaled that way.
