I think it qualifies as custom because it's chambered in 204 ruger. It's my first build. Target pic is 5 shots at 100yds, repeatable...

Shown here sporting a 7.5" upper with Bushnell Holosight. What a flamethrower! If you like getting smacked in the face with muzzle blast then this is the firearm to shoot!

This is my new one from CMMG; only thing missing is the staked castle nut. For the final cost compared to current ARs, I'm very happy with what I got. I plan on upgrading it as time goes on.

You can get an extended charging handle release latch to replace the stock part. Use a punch to drive out the roll pin, take out old latch, stick in the new one, drive pin back in. It's that easy. Two that come to mind are the Badger Ordnance "Tac Latch" and PRI "Big Latch".

It's that easy, unless you accidentally slip when compressing the spring with the new one and your spring goes flying where you hear it bounce off the wall but then don't find it for 3 years.

Or, it's that easy unless you drop the tiny tiny roll pin into a giant box of brass, never to be seen again.

And so on....

If you like getting smacked in the face with muzzle blast then this is the firearm to shoot!

And really, who doesn't?
