Sometimes someone that you can
implicitly trust might be viewing your
valuables, and the details may innocently
get to the wrong ear.
I've had it happen
Cousin Jim and his kids might drop
by for a hamburger on the grill, and
a game watching session. The kids
back at school or at their friend
Billy Jr.'s house tell about the neat
gun that daddy's cousin has.
Word gets in the wrong ear and before
you know it you come home and find
the back door kicked in.
Happened to a relative of mine in a
slightly different fashion. Small
wedding celebration at the in law's
house, and one of the guests spied
the big safe that hold the man's
valuables and the cash from the
contracting business he owns.
Wakes up a few nights later with a
gun barrel in his nostril.
They were ok, but were cleaned out
and lost peace of mind forever
