The picture is not mine. Just bought this model HP in Dec 07 from a friend for $450.
I hate that Gold Trigger.

Hungarian FEG copy, with all Browning guts. Refinished in black Gunkote, with light custom work done (trigger, stippling, dehorn, etc)

More than likely going to end up as a coming home present for a buddy in Iraq, which somewhat saddens me. It is an absolutely fantastic pistol, and probably wouldn't be leaving my hands otherwise. He will be happy with it though, and that matters more in the long run.

Oh my, I need to update this picture. I've added a new practical and a Novak Special Ops Package built on a new FN HP since this as taken.

God those weapons look so old school. dont own one, and don't think I will ever. Just not my style, not scary looking enough for my pallet. But then again I am not knocking your choices guys just giving my .02cents worth. I will admit though that some of those look purrty and probably would be good pistol for the wifey.

USMCDK:

Check out Rangegod's quote/tagline.....

"The old man said, “1911's & S&W's”, but the young man wanted to travel a different road. Finally, after many hard miles the now aged, worn and tired man came to understand; 1911's & S&W's were all he ever needed."

BHP is the high capacity heaven for the shooters with small hands and short fingers.
It is one the most elegantly shaped, joy to watch and handle pistols. It is the pistol along with the 1911 comes in the mind of the people when the word '' Pistol '' has spoken out.
Did I mention I love the BHP? :).

Regards.

Don't have a pic, but I have the 9MM Silver Chrome model with ubiquitous gold "pimp" trigger. Its box stock including the Pachmyr grips and its easily my most accurate 9MM pistol. Looks great, shoots great.

Gentleman I am bring this thead back up to ask a question of you owners of this firearm.

A friend of mine reloaded a couple hundred rounds on my reloading equipment and during our shooting at the range he had a case failure.

I would like to know if these guns, in your opinions are hard on cases, in particular at the feed ramp, supported or unsupported

Detailed report from the reloading thread I posted
Thanks
