Side by Side ammo comparison porfavor.

Could someone post a link that will show side by side pics of these types of ammo and that will explain their attributes. I have an old single shot .22 so I was going to purchase a Savage .270 maybe or a Vanguard. Seemed like between those two rounds I'd have a lot of versatility but if .243 can handle the larger end of small game or even pigs then I need to do some more homework.
