I am confused about what side saddle i need to order??

I have a maverick 88, Will a 6 shell side saddle fit? or do i need a 4

A six round tac star side saddle will fit it for sure, just be sure to get the mossberg version. You could go with a mesa but its almost half the cost of your gun.

Someone on another forum did a shotgun class where there were numerous Mesa failures, from the forward bolt shearing off.

I'd stick with Tacstar, mine have always worked well, and for a fraction of the cost of the Mesa holder.

Do NOT get the crappy ATI holder, mine tore and flew off the gun after I fired it a few times.
