I bought a bunch of bullets today for my 1911. Of those, I grabbed a box of 230gr Sierra JHP. The Accurate data lists the 230 grain FMJ so I used that data. The listed COAL is 1.250". However, with that bullet they don't work in any of my magazines.
I pulled the 8 that I loaded, dropped my powder charge by 2/10ths and repeated to 1.245". Now they work fine in my magazines but I would like to find the actual data for this bullet.
Would any of you have, and be willing to post a picture of the page out of the Sierra book? I have 4 load books, that's not 1 of them. Thank you in advance.
