Sig 2022 and FNX 9

Wow, I haven't been here in a while!
I'm looking to buy a new handgun this summer and the guns that I'm looking at are the Sig 2022, FNX 9, Stoeger Cougar, and G19. I've read a ton on the latter two, but I can't find as much about the Sig and FNX. Who can tell me about them--especially the Sig. Why the 2022? What need does it fill? Why is it so inexpensive? What size is it (full size, compact, etc).

Check out the Sig forum for 2022, many think it has the best factory trigger of all sigs. I'm not sure about that, I really like mine but I think my CZ Phantom trigger is slightly better. The 2022 is similar to the 229 in size, 3.9 inch barrel, 15 round mags poly frame so lighter than the 229.

I love the FNP-9, the FNX is almost identical. It's got some changes I think are incorporated from the USG models.
