Sig 220 holster question

Knowledgable Sirs,
Will a Sig 220 fit a holster made for a 226/225? Seems not many companys offer a 220 style.

Well....the 225 is a smaller gun. Wont fit...but the 226 and 220 are basically the same frame...so you can use the same holster for both.

The 220/226 are basically the same top half, so it should work just fine~!

If you are looking for an IWB Holster, forget it the gun is just too darn big to carry IWB, When I tried it dragged by pants down, of course mine is and ST with the rail which is heavier than the standard P220, but If I can't dissuade you look at a Milt Sparks VMII its the cadillac of IWB holsters. Top gun supply is a good place to go for one and they usually stock them, expect to pay $125 for the Sparks VMII. I had one for the P220st and sold it, I also have one for my 1911 Officers ACP and it works great. I tried a Desantis executive companion shoulder holster and it is great for the 220. But the Best Holster I have found for my P220st is the Blackhawk Serpa, its a paddle, but very secure and it has the serpa lock, it will run ya $60 and IMHO its the best choice for a P220St.

I just mailed my money order for one of the P220/P226 Galco 248H holsters. P225 is smaller than the P220. Just about every holster maker makes holsters for the Sig P220 - IMHO the BEST .45 you can buy
