Good job Sig for a very useful product:

I tested mine on both old and new style sig frames and fit was good. I didn't
bench it, but accuracy seemed very good. Just as recommended by Sig, the kit
prefers to be fed CCI (mini mags and stingers). It also ran well with other
brands that were copper-coated hi-velocity such as Remington and Federal.
Quite a few hiccups right off with Winchester wild cats so I ceased using
those altogether.

As per factory recommendation, it runs better when the mag is inserted with
the slide all the way back and then released. One hardware issue which affected
function was one of the magazines did not have enough of a channel molded
in on the top upper left and this would push the slide release up and sometimes
catch the slide while cycling. This was easily solved by a few minutes of whittling
with the tip of a knife and smoothing with the edge of a phillips screw driver
head. Note: even if the slide catch did not engage before I put in this "fix"
it seemed that friction from it may have kept the slide from going back all the
way at times, too. So if you notice a feeding issue with a particular mag,
make sure you check there first. Further note on the .22 kit: the slide is not
intended to hold open at all --even after the last round is fired.

This is a very good kit for anyone who has a 226 and I can say the practice
on it was very helpful towards better performance when I moved back to
9mm. It was also far easier on my finances after a few afternoons of shooting.

Kudos again to Sig (and Top Gun Supply for fast service).

BTW, as of this writing, TGS is out of stock...trust me, though, it's worth the
wait.
