Hi All,
I'm getting my year-end bonus this friday (Finaly). I am looking at a mid size 9mm. The two that I am seriously considering are the Sig 229 and the HK USP9c. I have a USP45 that I love, so I am familiar with its manual of arms, and shoot it well. The 229 is a phenomenal pistol that I have shot and am very fond of. So, what pistol do you recommend? What do you fine folks consider the strengths and weaknesses of each. Any help that you can offer would be great.

Thank you

What a wonderful problem to have! Both are great guns, but would lean towards the Sig. Totally a self-preference thing.

I have only had a USP Expert and do have 7 SIGs, I would of course pick the P229. Based on all things being equal I would pick the SIG for it's factory tritium night sights vs glow in the dark on the H&K.

Sigs have never "sung to me" the way the HKs do when I pick one up. IMHO, the USPc is in a class all by itself...just perfect. Pick the one that "sings to you", then you can't go wrong.

This is going to be a personal preference. I am a Sig person, but would not say no to an HK.

If I had to choose it would be *another* Sig ;)
