just recently purchased my first Sig Sauer. A used Stainless Shot Show Demo of a model 230. I love it. Shot it for the first time today. I ran some FMJHP and some Glasers through it and I was very impressed. the Glasers penetrated a metal barrel and some concrete gardening peices quite well. Also, I laid some heavy leather over the lip of the barrel. The glasers penetrated the leather, the barrel, and the leather again as it was on the other side of the barrel as well. I was somewhat surprised. The FMJHPs did well too. Now to my point. Other than getgrip.com AKA Hogue, who else makes grips for the 230/232? I'd love to dress it up. Thanks.

At first I thought you were putting leather over the lip of your gun's barrel.
:)

Nill Grips make nice grips for the 230/232. Also, the newer more ergonomic P232 factory grips fit the 230.

I have 232 grips on my alloy 230 and much prefer them . I haven't tried a Hogue mainly out of vanity , I just don't care for how much it changes the look of the gun but it probably makes it more fun to shoot .

My experience with the Hogue is that it made me MORE prone to getting slide bite. I went back to the stock. Nill makes a wood grip for the P230/p232 as well. They make nice looking stuff, but it's pricey.

Wow...I found just the opposite with my P230SL! I ended up sticking with the hogue grips.

Ditto what Captain Bligh said about the Nill grips. Gorgeous grips, but $113 was a tad pricey to me.
