I just wanted to wish my Sig 239 .40 a happy anniversary. It officially fired round # 2,500 today without a single malfunction of any type whatsoever. MY first handgun to achieve that benchmark.
I know how you feel, I only have a few hundred rounds thru mine and I have had it a year this month. I am trying to keep it looking new as long as I can...It's just so dogone purdy
Got my P239 in 357 in September, have about 300 rounds through it now with zero malfunctions and I'm already getting the best groups of my life with the thing. Great little guns.
Our 5th anniversary is coming up in only a few months.
My P239 (9mm) still hasn't failed in any way - none, zero, zip. I gave her another 50 rounds this weekend just to be sure she stays happy. I've lost count of the total, but it has been several thousand.
My P239 is the only pistol that has never failed in some way for me. Although many failures in other pistols are ammo related, even that hasn't occurred with the 239. That includes a little luck, I guess.
