sig 239 in .357 sig, should i be worried about the frame?

No, you shouldn't worry. I own and shoot a Sig P239 in .40 S&W and have about 15K rounds down the pipe. Not one blemish, not one failure of any kind.

As the previous poster stated, keep the rails lubed.

Sigs like to run wet, +1 or whatever number we're on with regard to keeping her lubed up. I've never seen a cracked 239. Not saying it can't or hasn't happened, but I've never seen one yet.

Even the frames that did crack (on older P226s, not the P239), took several tens of thousands of rounds to do so, and the gun was not disabled.
