Is the Sig 556 pistol legal to own in N.J.?

I don't know if it is legal or not, but I'm not sure if I'd want a $1500 pistol that you can't carry and can't really do much with. IDK, if you like it, get it, I just don't see it.

I've seen this statement or similar on several advertisements for this thing:

NOTE: This product is not available in California, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and currently Illinois where it is restricted in certain locales.

They don't reference any specific law though, maybe someone from NJ can address the specifics.

It would not be legal with a magazine that holds more than 15 rounds.
