It does give brass a very solid, AK style fling. Overall I'd call it something well in excess of "positive ejection."

trowing brass in to the next timezone is part of the SIG flair..
honestly now, the SIG 55X family was designed as a combat weapon to function in the high alps at -30C or in the muddy lowlands of switzerland and to run 10k rounds without any cleaning or relubing if need be.
we actualy still manage to jam it sometimes.

buy it!!! I love mine. MI makes 556 BUIS sights I like them. wish they had a 7.62x51 version I would be all over it.
