SIG #8 (P239) and more of the same ... they just work!!!

My first Sig was a surplus P6. It proved to be 100%. I have heard of the issue with rust on some of the older Sigs, but have never seen it for myself. I have dumped my Glocks and replaced with Sigs. Both are great guns. But in the future my choice will be Sig, W. German if possible, but the P226 Classic .22 I just bought is a keeper for sure.

My only Sig experience is with a 9mm 239--7 years ago?. Got it because I have a short trigger reach.

I don't run it 'wet', just lightly oiled like my other guns. It has yet to have any malfunction and shoots accurately out to 25 yds (and probably beyond). I used it for 6 mos when I started shooting USPSA 'production' class over 5 years ago.

It's a good gun on my night-stand.
