I have a P220 that I'm sending to their custom shop to have it converted to DAO (because all my other guns are revolvers and I can't shoot worth a hoot in SA) which costs $120. I figure while its down there I can have an action job done, but it costs $150
The sheet says it includes their "service package" which costs $75 on its own, where they take apart the gun, replace any needed springs, and give it a cleaning. So I call Sig to see about just getting the action job by its self because my gun has maybe 500-600 rounds through it, so I don't need any service package. I figure it would be OK, and that it would cost $75. Well I was wrong, you have to get the whole thing done They aren't flexable at all on this matter, and I asked if there was anyone there who could authorize and they answer was NO.
Well I'm just doing the DAO conversion and thats it, I'm not paying $150 for an action job, sorry but thats just a little outrageous. The trigger isn't terrible on the gun in DA, but it could use a little work to make it more smooth. I'm just going to see how it is when it gets back, and prob throw a snap-cap in there and dry fire the heck outta it, then go from there.
