Sig P-938 ?

I guess for me a stainless steel framed 938 would be worth buying, a Al alloy frame not so much. I will wait and see if Sig offers one in a limited release and I will buy two and later sell one for twice the cost.

To each their own - but know you're missing out on a lot of great pistols based on a subjective predisposition, not on objective evidence.

Nothing new to add, but I love my P938. Very durable, and shoots like a dream for its size. I have carried mine EVERY day for about 3 years now, and I can't imagine carrying anything else.

If this gun died for some reason, I would buy another one that same day.

As owner of a machine shop which did repair work for many years I learned quickly the limitations of plastics and aluminum alloys, even 7075. I own a P238 HD, which I would never buy with an aluminum frame. If Sig built an HD model of the P938 I'd buy one of those too, obviously I change the plastic trigger and MSH out for stainless.

When I carry a steel frame S&W model 36 or a E.G. Makarov in the waist band I often forget it's there, but for ankle carry I prefer light weight.

I've been pocket carrying my P938 Extreme for 3 years also. It's the right size and caliber for my needs. Better still, it's reliable and accurate as long as I do my part.
