Purchased a P220 Ernest Langdon this weekend. My dealer told me he had two of them several weeks ago when I was there shipping a gun and I told him I didn't want to see it (out of sight, out of mind). Well Saturday I was on my way to the gun show and stopped at Rays Sporting Goods just to browse (prices are too high but they have nice guns to look at) and there sat a P220-EL. I couldn't help but ask to see it.....and the rest is history. I called my dealer to see if he still had one and he did so after the gun show I went and picked it up!!! Was going to shoot it today and post pictures but got sidetracked with my "to do" list but will try to get to the range Wednesday.
As far as fit and finish...looks fabulous to me. I really like the options on this gun....2 tone, short trigger, Nill grips, fiber optic sight. In fact, I want to find some Nill grips for my P226 Sport Stock.
I was down to one .45 cal (Colt Special Combat Government Competition) due to trouble with arthritis but I couldn't pass this SIG up....it's just flat out gorgeous (to me).
I have a X200 light on my Beretta Storm that I'm hoping will fit the P220 rail. I'll check that out tonight.
Will post a range report and pics by this weekend.....
