Speaking of flat-bottom mags, anybody know of a source for heelclip 220 magazines?

I think he might be referring to 9mm P220 heel clip mags.....they are out there in the dark corners of the interweb, but $$$....
I got lucky, my 9mm P220 came with 4!

Also you may have problems with some hollow points not fitting in the mag due to being too long. I heard only praise for these guns until I bought one and upon trying to load the first two magazines full, my ammo (hornady custom) was too long. I googled it and sure enough its not all that uncommon. I just shoot ball now as this wasn't an sd gun anyway. Just worth noting.

The Sig V-Crowns fit. Hopefully Federal HST fits, that seems like a great round for the caliber.

The largest offender was the Remington Golden Sabre. The profile was "fat", too far forward.

I used to carry the Speer 200gr JHP, Flying Ashtrays, and never had a feeding issue with them

I have only tried hornady custom 200 gr xtp. But they didn't fit. My hand loaded 200 gr ball. And federal 230 gr ball work good and the gun shoots great, surprisingly accurate. Someday i'll check other brands of hp ammo, but no need really at the moment to buy others. But your exactly right, its not the c.o.l. that causes problems, its the profile of the bullet. It's still aggravating that they fit in every 1911, glock, HK, and Ruger.
