online gunshop has a SIG P220, used from LE surplus, comes with night sites and two 8 round mags, box and papers. He was going to keep it for himself but would sell it to me for $535. Good price?

I prefer stainless since its more durable but I have heard a lot of good things about the SIG P220. My local shop wants $789 for a NIB P220.

only other .45 I'm considering is a Springfield Stainless Loaded PX9151LP for $849 locally.

Do not buy a Stainless P220 unless it has the new external extractor. Check under the front of the barrel for German proof marks and two letter date code.

The older P220s with the milled slide are Sig DA/SA perfection. For a CPO $500 to $550 OTD is a good price.

Yep, around here the older W. German model is $599 if LN. Those that have been shot more go for $500 to $550 - based on reading boards that is good advice about avoiding stainless unless.... as stated above....:)
