Sig P226 Blackwater or Sig P229 SCT.... ... Kimber Grand Raptor also!

I heard many good things about the sig.Have a friend that shoots alot 300 to 500 rounds a week.He got his first Sig 45 about a year ago.He said it was more accurate than any thing he has shot or owns,was really impressed with it.I have recently thought about the Sig Blackwater P226 or the Sig 229 SCT in 9mm.
They are the different sizes but come with the 4 mag new.One has 4 20 round 9mm other 4 mag only 18 round.
Just thought I would ask if anyone has bought the Blackwater version and do they like it?Also,opinion on P229 SCT .I am thinking about getting one.I was somewhat thinking more toward the Blackwater version,in 9mm.
I am planning on getting a Kimber Grand Raptor before the year end.
I know the Sigs mentioned don't match up with the Kimber mentioned.Just thought I would get some input from anyone owning any of the above..

SIG's are fantastic weapons. Either SIG will do you well. Any option of shooting either before the purchase? If not, hold each one, dry fire each and make your decision. Are they both DA/SA? While I like the DA/SA trigger, I recommend sending it off to have the pull lessened, action polished and the SRT installed. Grays Guns does a fantastic job of that.

I have an SCT, approx 800 rds and no hiccups. Very accurate. Good balance.

Here's my SCT with NP3 coating and Rosewood grips from an Elite. I like this gun a lot. Grips are a little big for me so I might be selling them soon.



Edited to add: It really is an SCT, I just happn to have a standard magazine in it in this picture.

I'd get that Blackwater Tactical 226. I think that's the one you're leaning to isn't it? I just got a 229 SCT in .40 though and I'm extremely happy with it.

I will have to check out size comparison.Yes,like the Blackwater differences,trigger let off 60 percent if I read it correctly and other things!I appreciate all of your input!
