I am in the market to purchase a Sig pistol. I think that I have settled into purchasing a Sig P226ST with the plain sights, probably in 9mm. I have gotten a price of $749 plus tax and was wondering if that is a fair price, or if I should search farther. Since I am under the assumption that dealer cost is around $680, that would mean a markup of a little less than 10%. Does anyone know if $680 is the approximate dealer cost of this firearm or not? I want to make sure that I am in the "ballpark" for cost because if it is, I know that I probably won't be able to get it for much cheaper. Also, does anyone know how much more it should cost for nite-sights if I should decide not to get the plain sight model? Thanks for any comments or advice.

You might check impactguns.com or do a search for Bud's Guns or Bud's Gunshop. Both of those places seem to have very good prices. I don't know how they are to deal with but at least it will give you the pricing information you are looking for.
