I have a Sig P232 two-tone with the finger groove grips. I had been trying to sell it on this and other forums, but over the weekend I tried some Buffalo Bore 100gr hardcast lead ammo in the little 380 and I gained a new respect for the gun. I've decided to keep the Sig, but I dislike the Hogue fingergroove grips. The pistol is just to thick for a 380 CCW, in my opinion and it's the grips that are the problem.
Here's my question: Does anyone have any experience with other grips like the Alumagrips or G10 grips that Hogue offers? Are these grips any thinner than the rubber Hogues? I think just getting rid of the finger grooves will improve things to some degree, but I would really like the gun to be thinner as well. What is the thinnest set of grips I can get for this pistol?
Thanks in advance for the help.
