A while back I posted a thread about a problem with my brand new Sig P320 in this thread.
http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=803722

I sent the gun back to Sig and the turnaround took only 10 days. They reported they changed the extractor pin and successfully tested with 115gr American Eagle 9mm ammo.

Due to the range being closed for repairs and other real life stuff getting in the way today was the first chance I got to test my pistol. I fired about 100 rounds of mixed ammo of 115gr Federal FMJ, 124gr PMC FMJ and my 124gr handloads. I am very happy to report every case extracted and ejected into a nice pile to my right and no stoppages. I got lucky it was really only the extractor pin they replaced and not something else yet unknown.

Thanks to all who assisted me in the original thread, mark this one a successful factory repair with a quick turnaround.

There have been reports of extractor issues with a number of SIG P320s. For whatever reason, the compact 9mms seem to be most commonly affected.

My compact 9mm spit a few empty cases straight back at me in the first 100 rds fired, but since then it has been flawless.

I've noticed that especially with the compact 320s they start running smooth after a couple hundred rounds.

The P320 is over sprung for cheap budget ammo. My wife's didn't do well with budget 115gr ball at all since that ammo is typically weak. Using NATO spec ammo instead resulted in perfect functioning.

Glad your P320 got straightened out. They are awesome guns.

I recently picked up two of them, a full size 40 and a Compact 9mm. I have a bit over 300 rounds of varied ammo through each of them and the function has been flawless. (Including plenty of 115 gr in the Compact 9).

I really love these pistols. So much so that I just bought a third one - a Carry 40.
