I bought a Sig P320C X and have not shot the gun yet. Hadn't even disassembled it yet. Bought a Leupold Delta Point Pro to mount on the gun as it matches the factory slide optics cut.

Mounted the optic (twice) per this video:

Everything went smoothly. Striker and plunger came out easy...went back easy. extractor seated properly with plunger properly seated. Everything seemed fine.

But now I cannot get the slide back on. Very frustrating! I get the slide ALMOST on...it goes on up to about 1/4-3/8's short of where I can lock it and no further!

I've pulled the plunger and tries spinning it 180 degrees just in case and no go. Tried rotating the recoil spring assembly but no go. Disassebled and reassembled the plunger/extractor/striker several times but no go.

I can strip a Glock down to itty bitty pieces, so I do have a clue about how these striker fired guns work, but I am at a loss. This is so frustrating. Anyone have any ideas what I may be doing wrong (other than buying something other than a Glock)???

Thanks!

Sometimes my P320's will get balky about letting the slide go on and when they do,I keep a little pressure on the slide and sort of twist it back and forth and they slide right into place.Make sure the recoil spring assembly is straight and the ejector is lined up with its slot.

Thanks. I figured it out.

This video helped a lot.

And yes, I am finding out the RSA's have to be just right. But also, I had the RSA oval in the wrong orientation...I had it horizontal instead of vertical...DUH!

Glocks are definitely caveman guns. Much less specific! But I am in learning mode, and open minded...LOL!
