Sig P6 refinish questions

I recently came across an old Sig P6, it's moving parts are "like new" but it shows major holster wear. If I wanted to refinish this gun, are there any parts I want to avoid? I have access to a Melonite finisher so that's the direction I was planning.

Also, the grips are worn, will the P225 grips fit?
