Sig Sauer bdx combo?

I worked with a friends bdx system some, and it does work. I actually like it better than the Burris/Bushnell/Nikon system. Having a second person run the range finder is kinda nice.

While functional, you do loose some glass quality to get all the extra features at the price point. so as long as you realize that going in, it's not a had option.

The only other real complaint is the reticle is pretty thick, I assume to house the oleds or what ever they are using for the aiming points.

I read LoonWulf’s summation from another post before deciding to chance it but I made the call and ordered one from Doug this week. Warranty on scopes with electronics is 5 years, lifetime on mechanical features. I’m used to fairly plain glass so I think it’ll work out well.

Cool let us know how it is, I need a range finder some day anyway. I just don't think I have the places to shoot out far enough to use it. 5years on electronic seems good.

As a note the range finders are actually really good. Psa had a deal for a non-bdx whiskey 3 and the bed 1400rf for 250 a while back, so I got one cause a friend needed a range finder. It's a better range finder than my Bushnell GeForce DX that cost more than the combo pack lol.....better glass too.

Given the combo is $400 so figure it's a $200 scope. If it's as good as a Nikon prostaff I'd be happy. Only problem is I don't have a phone lol.
Its at least as good as the plastic capped prostaffs....when my buddy bought his they were going for 600-650 I think, and even then for what you got i didnt think it was a BAD deal.

You don't actually need a phone to run the system, you just need access to a Bluetooth enabled device to program it, so a 50 dollar tablet should be able to do....least from what I remember when setting up my buddies....heck I've got an old tablet you can have, if I can find it lol

I have the tablet, I just checked Google play store had the app but for some reason a can't get it. Something about my device not being on my Google account, it has my old phone and don't see any way to change devices.

Will do, I’m expecting good things for the money. I gather from looking over Sig’s offerings the past year that MSRP is considerably higher than street prices but I’m expecting a $250-300 scope with a $200 rangefinder. My daughter won’t really notice or nitpick though, she’s always been happy to use what’s provided from $20 Simmons to $400 Leupold.

Probably have to add your Google account to your tablet lol.

Can probably also find the .apk and manual install also.
