Have you shot one to come to your conclusion, or are you merely assuming the internet banter to be 100% bad news?

his thread is a perfect example of how, once someone on the internet says there are, or may be, issues with a newly released firearm, that particular piece of internet lore lives on forever and forever ... no matter how many thousands of people rise up to declare the gun reliable and worthy, the denizens of the internet heed only the words of those who have never even become a long-term owner and shooter of that gun.

So, you have never fired one? And what problems were they on those that came back?

but to slam something you have zero experience with is just more internet BS, IMO.

I need to stop posting before coffee...

With that -- I'm gonna go down to one of my LGSs this afternoon and buy my second P-365 (one is none, dontcha know?) at the first-responder pricing ($448 out the door).

Good for you. I bought my second one a couple of months after my first which was a Mar. 2018 firearm. Over the last year, I have seen dozens of them come through our range and tens of thousands of rounds fired with no issues whatsoever save one RSA that was screwed up and SIG had him back in business that same week with no questions asked following the photo's he sent. I only have about 5000 rounds through mine so I am not yet qualified to claim it is the perfect gun for me but suffice to say it has been my daily carry for over a year.

No I don't. The Glocks come from a long line of excellence...........do I need to mention the Sig 320 problems. I have had great results with the 43 I got my daughter, and after a number of years selling guns, I have seen no serious Glock issues, but.........do I need to mention the Sig 320 (and 365) problems many have had?
I'll repeat: "I'll stick with the 43/43X line."

Sell the stupid gun, so many other choices out there. SA, Walther, Glock, HK, even the lowly nose in the air Taurus.

Small guns can be problematic to shoot.
I have trouble bumping the slide lock about once every 15 rounds with a Ruger EC9S if I don't really pay attention to my thumb position. I think a grip sleeve may "fix" it so I don't have to completely change my grip.

I never bump the slide stop on my .45 Shield or Ruger LCP (which is really buried). Of course the .45 Shield also has less perceived recoil than the 9mm EC9S as well. Go figure.

I’m gonna guess it’s the +P+ ammo. You should probably stick with either 115 or 147 ball and see how it runs first. May need a 500 round break in.

Thanks for all the ideas.
Like I said, luckily I was able to sell it for what I paid for it.
I got a Springfield XDs and it has been fantastic with No problems, and no issues with poor placement of slide release like on Sigs.
Also was $200 Less!

I got a G2C as backup w/ the $200 I saved so now have 2 well functioning guns instead on 1 lemon.

One Fact: Sig. S. customer service was Terrible. Disorganized internally, and Unresponsive, even dishonest.

Ruger and Savage have been MUCH Better in this regard.

2000 rounds now, 1 FTE at around 1800 rounds. All reloads and well used brass.
So far I can't say I have ever had a pistol any more reliable.
I honestly did not care one way or the other about this gun when I bought it.
Really like it now and will keep pumping rounds through it.
It is a very nice shooter for such a small gun.

The only malfs I have had were with some reloads done on a new LnL that wasn't dialed in (they also malfed in all the Glocks and M&Ps, so it wasn't the guns) My 365 has been flawless otherwise with reloads, 115s, 124s and factory in the same from a wide variety of makers including Remington Bucket of Bullets to Speer Gold Dots and Hornady TAPS. It has been as reliable as any other semi I have ever had.

I would suggest to replace the recoil spring at this point. I do not own the 365, do own other micro 9mm, and this seems the sweet spot to start to watch them fail. 2,000-2,500. Gallaway in a Email told me his were good for 2500. JMO

Sig Sauer is a brand I will never try again based on their assinine and cocky customer service. Had they show n any care I'd feel differently. I don't know why anyone would want to waste 1000 rounds on experiments w one.
Ruger has always been great and reliable.

I'm considering a new in box first gen mp shield 9. What other good 9 options r there w barrel Shorter than 3.5"?
Actually, I had a first gen Shield 9 and only put 100 or so rounds through it and put it in the safe. As much as people like them, I didn’t.
I just bought a Kahr CM 9. I had a PM 9 years ago that I sold to fund something else. 400 rounds through the CM to this point, and probably close to 1000 through the PM before I sold it. I had nothing go wrong with either. Nothing... Accurate, and smaller than the others. Yet if people will read about how horrible they are.
I really don’t care if I’m loosing a few rounds capacity vs the Sig. The smooth trigger is to kill for.
We’re so lucky to have so many choices of firearms.....

Seems we are on the same page. I also had a Sheild many years ago, had some problems and just moved on. No big deal, and not saying they are not nice guns, they are.
Now I have shot the Sig 365. Nice gun, just not for me, for a few reasons. Much prefer the Kahr. Now another poster has the Kahr, and loves his New 365. I think that is great We both come out winning. And yes the bottom line is we are so lucky to have so many choices.

I will say this, the Sig 365 is not my cup of Tea, but would love to have the Sig 320 sub-compact.
