Hi Guize,
New to the forum. This one is more restrained than most. I appreciate that. Anyway, I'm looking to buy a .22LR auto. I've narrowed my choices down to one of the Buckmarks. However there are 28 of them! I don't know the difference in performance between them.

I think I'd like a Contour 5.5 lite. The built-in scope base saves me $30, and because I'm not 25 any more, the lighter weight will make it easier for me to shoot. Besides, when you add a scope, the weight comes close to the regular Contour. I plan to plink, hunt, and competition shoot with this gun. I don't want to spend a gazillion dollars for a real target gun. My competition venues will be bullseye and probably mini pin.

So after all this, my question is, does the Hunter shoot just as well as the Contour 5.5 lite? How about the Camper? How about the URX Standard. These guns are at different prices so do these prices reflect higher quality barrels, trigger assy' etc. or do they just reflect fancy grips (the Plus models), engraving (the JMB models), more metal (the 7.5 inch models), etc. Well...you get the idea.

BTW, I've tried the Rugers and although they are great guns, they don't fit my hand well. The Buckmarks point and balance well for me and feel good. A friend lent me his Buckmark to try (and paid my entry fee to Bullseye night at our local indoor range). Equipped with an inexpensive Red Dot, my very first target ever (10 rds/10 minutes) was a 77.

Thanks for any suggestions, comparisons, or opinions you may have.

from what I've seen

the Buckmarks barrells are roughly the same and the finish, grips etc are different. My guess is, the pencil barrell, bull barrell, etc are made the same way, so the interiors of the bores are probably very similar. So, if you like a particular model, get it as you will probably be happiest with that.
YMMV
