Sighting in

Thanks Mike. I always enjoy your videos. Your process of starting close is a good one, when I first got my Podewils-Lindner I tried sighting in at 50 yards. It took me 6 shots to get a hole in the paper. Had I started at 15 yards it probably would have taken 5 less shots......... How about sighting in a smoothbore Brown Bess? Mine is driving me nuts......

Thanks Mike, great vid. Good luck with the Brown Bess. When I was in the Army,we carried the 2nd model Brown Bess for ceremonies, and parades. Sometimes we would go to the range and live fire the darn things.I don't know what the powder load was, Out of 50 guys,we couldn't hit spit. Lots of fun though! Company A,1st Battalion,3rd Infantry Regiment ,The Old Guard, Fort McNair, Washington DC. 1974-1975. In case you were wondering who in the Army uses these beasts. They still do.
