Sights for Marlin 336

I'm looking to get some XS sights for my Marlin 336. Thing is I don't know whether to order the ones with or without the integral ramp so here is a pic of the front sights and receiver. Thank you for your input.

The one woth the ramp won't work unless you drill and tap your barrel to screw them on.
Take A look at skinner sights before you buy anything.

So you sold me on the Skinner sights, but as far as the front sight, am I right in my understanding of the website's data that I need a .500 height for the standard Skinner and by my figuring a .450 would work for the express, as it sits .062 lower? I appreciate the help.

Yes, get the Express Skinner if you don't want to mess with your front sight.

Another 336 owner with nothing but good to say of the Skinner folks.

Never used a skinner, but they are highly recommended(and pricey), I went with a Williams peep sight, that mounts in the rear holes on top of the reciever.
I also had to replace the front sight, as the factory sight was too short, went with a Williams again at .406" height. I get 4"-5" groups @ 100 yds with my handloads.
