Well, I took an afternoon and browsed through both Spyderco's and Benchmade's website. I am hoping to get a job some time soon and replace my Cold Steel EDC with something a little better. I have come to a conclusion about both company's; All of their designs seem to be very much so alike. Don't get me wrong, both are terrific knives however I think if I am going to buy any, I will just pick one from each company that I like and go with that. So far I like two designs from Spyderco, the Adventura and the Waved Endura. I like the Mini Rukus from Benchmade as well as just about any other design. I paid $114 for my Ti-Lite and I would be willing to trade under what I paid...depending on the steel 
. Anyways, I have a Benchmade Monochrome and for $35 this knife is probably better than any other pocket knife I have. The only thing I wish was that I could take some G10 or other sort of material and essentially make a place for my thumb on the side as well as on the back of the handle where the notches are. It's kinda slippery which is why I would like to customize it.
