I was reading the "Guns are my Hobby" thread where the originator of the thread asked if other gun enthusiasts were into amongst other things, Cars and Motorcycles. I pondered my preferences in handguns and motorcycles.
I prefer the .45 ACP in the 1911 as well as the revolver. In motorcycles, I have owned and raced Ducatis - a Twin with two big pistons it makes torque at a low rpm compared to the Japanese INline 4 cylinders. It's easier to ride it into a corner at a low er less hectic RPM and then ride the
torque curve accelerating out of the corners. The Inline-4 is much like a high cpacity 9mm in that it has twice the number of slugs to get the same job done On the World stage of roadracing the Italian Ducati Twins have fared very well against the various Japanese Inline-4s where both have
a displacement limit of 1000cc over the last 30 years. .
Different strokes for different folks of the same ilk
