Hi,
Does anyone have any experience with both the Simmons 22 Mag 3-9x32 AO and the Bushnell Sportsman 3-9x32 AO for comparison purposes??
(I also was looking at the BSA Sweet 22 for a bit, but for some reason I think the three target turrets you get with it (for three different 22 rounds; 36gr, 28gr, and 40gr might be a lot of hype. Don't like hype, so I ruled it out. Maybe I'm wrong and should put this one back in the running).
Anyway, I've been considering the Simmons and Bushnell for a couple of days now. One is around $60 and the other around $80 and this is what I want to spend.
So please, no advice telling me to "save up" for a Burris, Leupold, Nikon, Weaver etc.. I can afford these "better" scopes but I'm pretty sure I'll be content shooting from 15 - 75 yds with these cheapies.
I like the looks of the Bushnell reticle a bit better than the Simmons reticle but at this point I have no real preference.
The scope will be mounted on a Browing semi-auto .22 I just bought. It will be used used for shooting rats, paper punching and plinking.
I wish there were a store within driving difference that I could go to for a side by side comparison but alas...
Thanks y'all very much,
Mike
