I am looking to scope the TC Classic that I recently bought. I am on a bit of a budget for now and had decided on buy a Simmons .22MAG next month when the new line is out.
Today while on Rimfirecentral I read a thread about scopes and there were links to a bunch of Simmons scopes that were on clearance because of the new line coming out. Any one have any experience with other Simmons scopes like the .44MAG and the 8 Point? I want something with an AO and in the 3x9 range. I also want the scope to be fairly compact since it is going on a Classic so the larger varmint type scopes are out. I was fairly set on the new .22MAG because I thought it would be a decent scope at a great price and that if I was unhappy with it I could pick up a higher quality scope in the spring and put the .22 on my Marlin. Any input from people with Simmons scopes would be great!
